Bringing the beauty and joy of dance beyond the stage and into our community.
Spring 2026
Through Nutcracker Outreach
Movement for Life
Riverside Ballet BRAVA Founded
Through Art for the Heart, BRAVA brings ballet and arts education directly into local elementary school classrooms, introducing young students to dance, movement, music and the performing arts. In Spring 2026 alone, the program reached 544 TK–3 students.
Nutcracker Outreach takes that experience one step further—bringing K–12 students into the theater to experience a full production of David Allan’s The Nutcracker. Since BRAVA’s inception in 2010, more than 22,000 students have attended these special student performances.
Together, these programs help make arts education and live performance accessible to young people throughout our community.
Movement for Life brings the joy and benefits of dance to adults living with Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis and other movement challenges.
Offered free of charge each week, these welcoming classes use ballet-inspired movement to encourage balance, flexibility, coordination and strength in a supportive environment.
At BRAVA, we believe dance can enrich lives at every age and every stage—and that everyone deserves the opportunity to experience the joy of movement.
Riverside Ballet BRAVA believes dance belongs throughout our community—not only on the theater stage.
Through performances at community events, festivals and local gatherings, our dancers bring ballet and other forms of dance directly to audiences throughout Riverside and the Inland Empire, often reaching people who might not otherwise encounter a live dance performance.
From the Inland Empire 66ers to the Riverside Art & Music Festival and the Believe Walk, these appearances allow BRAVA to celebrate our community, introduce new audiences to dance and share the joy of performance beyond the traditional theater setting.
Your support helps Riverside Ballet BRAVA bring dance into classrooms, theaters and communities—creating opportunities to experience, participate in and be inspired by the performing arts.
